What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help websites work properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use them. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels; in this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
How we use cookies
We aim to use as few cookies as possible, and we never use advertising cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Until you click Accept, we don't load anything that sets cookies.
If you accept:
- Google Maps loads on our Contact page. Google may set cookies on your device and collect information such as your IP address. If you decline, you can still load the map once by clicking "Click to load map".
- Google Analytics may be used to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited most. It is only switched on if we have enabled it, and only after you accept. It uses cookies named
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to two years.
Regardless of your choice, Google Fonts provides the fonts on every page. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives technical information such as your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
We also save two small settings in your browser's local storage, which work in a similar way to cookies: your cookie choice (aqvero-consent) and, if you use the light/dark switch, your colour theme (aqvero-theme). These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Click the button below to clear your choice; the cookie banner will appear again so you can choose.
If you previously accepted and now decline, you can also delete any cookies already set by Google using your browser settings.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see which cookies are stored and delete them individually;
- block third-party cookies, including those set by Google;
- block all cookies from particular websites;
- delete all cookies when you close the browser.
If you block cookies, the map on our Contact page may not display, but you can still find our address on that page.
Changes to this policy
