This website is operated by Aqvero Technologies ("Aqvero", "we", "us" or "our"), a custom software development company based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need. This may include:

  • Contact enquiries and quote requests: your name, email address, company, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), your preferred contact method, the service and features you're interested in, your budget range and timeline, and the details of your message.
  • WhatsApp messages: if you contact us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, WhatsApp profile name and the messages you send.
  • Website usage (only with your consent): if you accept cookies and we have enabled Google Analytics, information about how you use our website, such as pages visited, approximate location and device type.
  • CVs and job enquiries: your CV, cover letter, portfolio links and any other information you choose to send us.
  • Email and phone communication: the content of messages and calls you have with us.
  • Technical information: when you visit the site, our hosting provider may automatically record standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.

We do not ask for sensitive information, such as CNIC numbers, financial details or health information, through this website. Please do not include it in your messages.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and prepare proposals;
  • deliver and manage our services if you become a client;
  • consider CVs and communicate with candidates;
  • keep our website secure, working properly and free from misuse;
  • comply with our legal obligations under the laws of Pakistan.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

When you send us a message through our contact form, you agree that we may use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. We also use your information where it is needed to provide services you have asked for, for our legitimate business purposes such as keeping the website secure, or where the law requires it.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our website and business, and only as far as they need it to do so:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting;
  • Web3Forms: receiving and forwarding contact form, quote form and job application messages to our email;
  • Google: email (Gmail), web fonts (Google Fonts), the map on our Contact page (Google Maps, only with your consent) and, if enabled, website analytics (Google Analytics, only with your consent);
  • WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.

We may also disclose information if required by law, for example in response to a lawful request from a court or government authority in Pakistan, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.

Storage outside Pakistan

Our service providers may store and process information on servers outside Pakistan, including in the United States and Europe. We choose reputable providers that use recognised security measures to protect the information they handle.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above:

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client records: for the duration of our relationship, and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example, for tax and accounting purposes).
  • CVs: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner.

How we protect your information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure, reputable service providers. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and to prevent unauthorised access, in line with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
  • stop receiving any messages from us.

We will respond to your request within 30 days. If you live outside Pakistan, the laws of your country may give you additional rights, and we will respect them where they apply.
